Alumni Relations
The Alumni Endowed Scholarship Fund was established in 1916 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the arrival of the Sisters of Divine Providence in Texas.
Scholarships are awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who are relatives of OLL alumni. As an alumni of Our Lady of the Lake University, College or High School, you can sponsor a relative to be considered to receive this scholarship. The relative can be currently enrolled or planning to attend. Please refer to the instructions for a list of eligible relatives.
Recipients are selected by an alumni committee and are chosen based on student academic performance, a written essay and financial need. The maximum award is $1000 each academic year for both undergraduates and graduates. Students must be enrolled full-time.

Melissa Bendele - Palo Alto transfer student from Elmendorf, Texas. She is majoring in Social Work. Her father is an alumnus.
Karla Duran - Current student in OLLU PhD Leadership Studies program. She is from San Antonio.
Natania Gertman - St. Philip's College transfer student majoring in Social Work. Cousin is an alum.
Jake Haakma - Current sophomore student majoring in CISS. His aunt is an alumna.
Jennifer Herrera - Freshman majoring in speech pathology. She is from LaVernia, Texas. Her uncle is an alumnus.
Maris Lasoya - Current junior at OLLU majoring in Early Childhood Education with Special Education. Her mother is an alumna. She is from San Antonio.
Manuel Mata - Junior from San Antonio. Criminal Justice major. His brother is an alum.
Virginia Morales - Freshman Kinesiology major from El Paso. Her cousin is an alum.
Gregory Newman - Freshman from San Antonio. His mother and aunt are alums.
Gildardo Nunez - Freshman from Arlington, Texas. He is majoring in International Business and Biliterate program. His sister is an alumna.
Desiree Romero - Freshman from El Paso. She is majoring in Journalism. Her sister is an alum.
Emily Santellan - Freshman from San Antonio is majoring in Pre-Veterinary. Her aunt is an alum.
Soheila Zori - Current student majoring in Management. She lives in San Antonio. Her cousin is an alum.
Elizabeth Walther - Senior from San Antonio. Her aunt is an alum.
